You should have arrived at this help tour through the opening screen of The Red Book, pictured here. From around this screen you can still see the red button bar above, and the contents tree and search pane to the left. These are the main features used to navigate around NHS documents.
The opening screen lists the separate books that you can choose to read. Just
click on these titles to jump straight into the text. At each stage within the
book, you will see yellow menus indicating the parts of the book that you can
view.
At the top and bottom of each page of text, there is a Next Document (and a Previous Document) button to take you to the very next page in the book, and using these buttons you could read each book from cover to cover as it was originally printed! However, other features in this new internet version provide much faster and much easier ways to find exactly what you're looking for.
